Clinton County’s wide, open spaces draw visitors and area residents to explore the unspoiled nature you’ll find here. Less than a half-day’s drive from most points in the northeast United States, Clinton County is easy to get to and well worth the trip.

Whether on foot or by vehicle, the rugged terrain of Clinton County makes for a fun time in the outdoors. Take a swim or grab a tube, paddle a kayak, or fish in our waterways.

Load up the ATVs and head to the mountains to ride the trails. People searching for adventures on their ATVs, dual-sport bikes, motorcycles, or snowmobiles have places to ride. Active groups such as the Central Mountains ATV Association and Durty Dabbers Motorcycle Club host a number of popular events during the year.
